GearVU® is a comparative gear measurement software package uniquely designed for shop floor non-contact systems such as the Slone Gear’s PIVOT™ & probe-based systems such as Renishaw’s EQUATOR™.

GageVU™ is a software package that supports GearVU®; it is currently available for probe-based, CMM style hardware platforms (i.e. the Renishaw EQUATOR™). GageVU™ was also designed for the shop floor and measures basic geometric features related to a gear (i.e. parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, PD runout, distances, diameters, roundness, parallelism of two axis, flatness, DOB, etc.)

RollVU™ is a software package designed for Slone Gear’s motorized, semi-automatic, or fully automatic roll testers. It measures total composite, tooth-to-tooth, runout, and functional tooth thickness.

RollVU™ is an intuitive, user friendly, and comprehensive software package with customizable tolerancing. Like the rest of our software suite, RollVU™ includes data storage & retrieval capabilities.

For your convenience, RollVU™ has built-in standards for AGMA, DIN, and ISO tolerancing

SpanVU™ is a software package for use with Slone Gear’s Span Mics that make an easy measurement of tooth thickness on large gears (greater than 2 feet in diameter) which reduces the reach across large parts and lowers measurement uncertainty.

The PIVOT™ Laser System was developed out of pure passion for gear measurement. Our customers were tired of the legacy lab measurement solutions and wanted a system that could measure parts as fast as they were produced and measure them as close to the manufacturing machine as possible.

The PIVOT™ Laser System allows you to reduce lab queues, eliminate large batches of suspect parts, and ultimately increase your throughput. By measuring parts in under 7 seconds, you can quickly detect when there is a breakdown in manufacturing and better control your process.

Profile form errors make up the majority of rejects for ground gears so the PIVOT™ Laser System was designed to check profile form in under 7 seconds including load and unload time. This unique gage is fast, highly flexible, and its compact design takes up a minimal amount of space on your shop floor.

Our SGRT™ (Slone Gear Roll Tester) Double Flank is a shop proven, durable system for jobs 1-10 inch in diameter. Our highly flexible systems can accommodate a wide variety of part types. From simple hand rollers to fully automatic versions for continuous production operations, we have you covered! We supply masters and tooling for a complete turnkey solution for any size company.

The SGRT™ measures center distance, total composite, tooth-to-tooth, radial runout, normal C.T.T., DOP (calculated) and span (calculated). If setting discs are purchased, it will also measure tooth size (tooth thickness). The component is engaged with a master gear in tight mesh and rolls with no back lash.
